I feel better and healthier when I have a work-out regimen, but I go to the gym for 3 months and then stop.
Do you have tips to keep me motivated?
It’s important to remember that we are all responsible for finding the key to keeping ourselves motivated to exercise. What works for one may not work for another.
A gym can only provide the tools to help you. At Fit for Life we offer a Get Started Program - we assess your current fitness level and your fitness goals and design a program that meets all your needs. We offer one-on-one personal training for those who need even more motivation - the personal trainer encourages you to come out of your comfort zone and do things you would not imagine you can do. And, we also offer group classes as another avenue to keep you interested.
Our team will work with you to find the best solution to keeping you motivated to fulfill your promise to yourself.

I am often asked how to Get Started on a path to physical fitness. It usually goes something like this:
I know nothing about which exercises are right for me. I just want to be healthier. Do you have someone who will help me “make a plan”?
Yes! I’ve created a “Get Started” Program that has been very popular and is the ultimate way to have a program designed specifically for you. The program includes 4 sessions with an Exercise Physiologist.
The first session includes a medical history, body fat analysis, circumference measurements, a flexibility assessment and a cardiovascular assessment performed on a treadmill to determine your current fitness level.
The second session involves designing a cardiovascular and weight training program for you based on the results received from the assessment.
Two weeks later we meet again to review what you’ve been doing and to add more exercises to your routine. You work independently for 2 more weeks.
We meet for our 4th session to review, add new exercises to your routine, review goals and reassess. Everything is outlined for you.
It’s easy, it’s effective and it’s designed specifically for you. Come see me and I’ll help you “Get Started”.
